| Danger of staff falling through the roof | Staff will not go onto a fragile roof unless trained and authorised to do so, then only in the designated areas of access. Any roof ladders, crawling boards, scaffolding and staging will be inspected daily for damage. No work to be carried out on the roof in high winds. Staff will wear the appropriate safety equipment at all times. |
| Danger of objects falling onto staff below | All tools and material taken onto the roof will be made secure from falling off |
